He graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1970 and a J.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1973.   He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Northwest Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.   He is a lifelong resident of Illinois. He presently resides in Lake County, Illinois with his lovely wife.
